Since 2001, the UK Chapter has presented the Mervyn David Award to an individual who has made “a significant contribution to the security profession”.
Named in honour of our former Chapter 208 Chairman, Mervyn David OBE, who was an inspirational Chairman and figure within the security profession and UK Chapter. He was Chapter Chairman from 1st January 1994 until 31st December 1998. He was Air Commodore until leaving the Royal Air Force and joining Shell. He died on 27th August 2000 in High Wycombe, following a short illness.
This year the Chapter Board was delighted to present this to Emma Shaw MBA CSyP FSyl FCMI Managing Director Esoteric Ltd for her ongoing contribution to the raising of standards in profession and championing the security industry.
